I realise that I didn’t tell you about our trip to Paris for Mudrika’s 40th. The weather was great so we did a lot of walking along the Champs Elysee and along the river Seine. We stopped to eat something or sat in cafes drinking hot chocolate at every opportunity (and I mean hot chocolate, not the rubbish you get here – I mean melted down chocolate, which is so rich you need a glass of water to help swallow the stuff).
The highlight was the romantic dinner on a river boat ‘Paris by Night’, taking in the extraordinary sites while eating great food and drinking champagne. The cruise started at the Eiffel Tower and ended there and it is impressive by day but even more impressive by night. I used to live in Paris near the Eiffel Tower for a year and got to
see it almost every day but it is still a sight to behold. Needless to say when it was first unveiled the Parisiens hated it and wanted it torn down but they love it now.
Mudrika says she would love to have eaten at the Jules Vernes restaurant in the Eiffel Tower, so we must do that next time.
Then last week I got to be on stage with Tony Robbins at the National Achievers Congress which was very cool. I am sure that a lot of you were there – around 7,000 showed up. I was the first speaker which is always a tough gig but we had a lot of fun. Then Tony came out and rocked the place – it was awesome. He hasn’t lost his touch at all. He did run over for 1 hour though which put a lot of pressure on the other speakers. This made me think about all the extra long sessions we used to do with Tony. I even have a t-shirt that says, “Late night with Tony Robbins”.
I have to say it was a thrill, having attended all of Tony’s courses several times and been part of his Leadership programme, to come off stage and see the man himself standing there. Then on Monday I was in Totnes talking at Christopher Howard’s Billionaire Bootcamp. What a fantastic venue – Dartington Hall – and the weather was glorious. And the participants – what can I say? In the first 5 mins of my talk I was told to attend some of Chris courses because I was presenting all wrong … and that was just the start … let’s just say we had a LOT of fun … and the people were just great – really open, welcoming and fun.
Just the other day we had the last of our 1 day trading and investing events. Avi is up 435% on our Forex day trading strategy and we are looking at more ways to make it available to the public. If you are interested in this, then please let me know on marcus@investment-mastery.com. This isn’t a joke. There is some serious money to be made here.
We are finally moving into our new house – we were looking in North London while Mudrika was pregnant but ran out of time so quickly had to find a place to rent. Now that baby Sienna is 4 months old, we have bought a place in Elstree. We are tired of moving - 4 times in as many years – so hopefully this will be home for a few years.
We are looking forward to seeing our graduates at the next graduate meeting this Sunday where we have a very special guest speaker. Can’t wait.
See you then.
Marcus
