This weekend we had the inimitable Saen Higgins in town for his 2 day Property Tax Liens seminar. Where else would you get a 16 – 36% a year mandated by State law from people who don’t pay their taxes and we step in to pay them. And remember, if they don’t pay, you get the property. Believe me, they pay! Exciting times. Everything seemed to go well and I am looking to catch up with some of the delegates to get their feedback.
I’m “practising what I teach” – you may recall a recent blog post which mentioned that you should all be seeking successful people in your field and asking them how they did it. I met up with Jonathan Jay at the weekend for lunch. Remember he sold his business for many £millions a few years back and is now teaching others to do the same. He has set up NABO (National Association of Business Owners) and you should find out more about what he has to offer if you have your own business and want to grow it (let’s face it – who doesn’t?). Jonathan became so successful because he was not scared of trying out new marketing techniques, measuring the results and doing this again and again and again. I will be sending out some more information about Jonathan in the next few months.
Did I ever share with you the fact that Jonathan and I shared a seat on a panel called The Midas Touch at the Business Start Up Show? It was like a Dragons Den but live at the show. I had to wait in the sidelines until a more famous panelist had left the panel and the show for a business meeting – Peter Jones! I remember the seat still being warm. it was when he launched Tycoon, which was an entrepreneurial show that didn’t continue. It just goes to show you that successful people have as many failures as successes but they just keep on going.
Talking of Dragons – did any of you see Dragons Den – ‘What happened next?’ and also the continued story of the Dragons? Last week they featured ‘the tall one’ as Peter Jones is described by Theo Pathitis. It gave an interesting insight into the work ethic and approach by one of the leading entrepreneurs in UK and I found it quite inspirational. It gave me a sense that the key was to meet as many people with interesting ideas and skill-sets as possible and to work out how to make a profit combined. Remember, one of my favourite phrases is, “There is no such thing as a lack of money, only a lack of creative ideas”. So if you are under the illusion that you don’t have or earn enough money, think again. It is just that you are not being creative enough with the resources and knowledge you have.
It it was the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain this weekend, and I dont know if you managed to see any of the TV coverage or programmes documenting the events. I caught a brief glimpse of it. The oldest survivor is now 94 and he was compelling on camera. Those men fought for their country. We now have so much opportunity and resources to make a success of our lives due in no small part to them.
If you need a motivation to get your life on track, and get your finances in shape – and make a decent return on your investment – BUT are still sitting on the sofa beamoaning your situation – STOP! I suggest you go to BBC iplayer and watch some of the programmes, and have a good think about what you are going to secure you and your family’s financial future. This time of year is perfect for seeking new ventures and planning…… so watch out for our upcoming events that will help you reach your goals……..
As you know we are due to have dinner with the Dragons some time in October. I have had lunch with Theo before and he is exactly the same on and off television. I have also spoken at Peter Jones’ National Enterprise Academy. So I am very much looking forward to the dinner to catch up. James Caan and Duncan will be there as well and although we have appeared on a DVD called, The Riches earlier this year, I have never met either of them but feel like I know them from reading their books and of course from watching the programme.
We are preparing for the filming of our Wealth Foundation Masterclass in a few weeks. The BBC will be filming the course as part of a wealth series next year. Earlier this year the BBC came round to our house to film us and as they are following us around, I could say it feels somewhat “celebrity” – I don’t know how they manage being “papped” 24/7. They also filmed me at the Robert Kiyosaki event a few months back and will be filming again at the next T Harv Eker event. Apparently they have also been filming a graduate of ours who came on our wealth course a few years ago and who had done well financially as a result so we are looking forward to see what the results were. All this is keeping Lisa and Mandy on their toes as they prepare for the upcoming events.
Our 2 day stock market workshop for beginners is starting this weekend. And as usual I am super excited about sharing the simple strategies we teach with a new group. We have been having more than the usual success stories over the last few months. I think this is in no small part down to our very own Paul Harrison (left) who is going the extra mile in supporting everyone and ensuring they take consistent actions. This is what it is all about.
This is what a recent graduate Jancie Geddes said about Paul Harrison and what action she had taken immediately after her weekend workshop.
“Paul is an outstanding mentor. You can get feedback and ask questions to help you along. I have just placed my first trade using virtual trader.”
We are also about to launch a brand new service with products and information of the very best quality.
Its top secret and “in the labs being developed and tested”!
Me and the team have been working on its creation. Its like nothing we have ever offered before, and will be accessible to all of you – so that you can do exactly what we wish for you which is to make consistent profits on your investments, and create wealth for yourself and your families in your spare time, just a few hours a week.
Ill be revealing more as the weeks go on. You will be bowled over when you find out what it is – I promise you!
Melania went swimming for the first time last week and loved it. Boy can that girl talk! Last week she talked for 20 mins non-stop. I haven’t a clue what she is saying but she repeats entire sentences and so she is doing her very best to communicate. Disappointingly she now says, “Mamma” more than “Daddy”. I can’t believe it!
Till next time!
