Are You Willing To Do What It Takes – For As Long As It Takes?

Are you willing to do what it takes?

Toy dogs I am currently spending an average of 30 mins a day studying the 3 day course, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T Harv Eker and presenting to my audience of Melania’s collection of toy dogs.

In March I am flying to Vietnam to co-lead the MMI event for the first time. And then in April I am co-lead with Harv on a European tour in 5 countries finishing with London on 13th, 14th 15th of May. If you haven’t been you must go. Daniel Wagner says that attending this event was one of the major turning point in his financial life. To give you an idea, just the other day one of his businesses turned over £200,000 … in one month.

Let me tell you the story of how I got to co-lead with Harv. I had heard about it the first time when both internet marketeers Nicola Cairncross and Mark Anastasi flew separately all the way to the US to the Millionaire Mind intensive and they loved it. Then I found Harv’s book, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: Think Rich to Get Rich!  in Sales expert Andy Preston’s toilet and started reading it while …. well you get the picture. Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T Harv Eker. I thought it was crazy good. I still have several copies in my living room to this day.

Then one day I heard that Harv was coming to London to deliver Millionaire Mind. I attended the 3 day course – it’s FREE by the way, why would you NOT go but upgraded to VIP because I believe that is the only way to travel. You just get a better class of people in VIP, making the whole experience more fun and of course you get to sit at the front. No brainer. To cut a long story short, I found out Harv’s private email and emailed him a few times.  No response. I handed him my book on at least 2 separate occasions, no response. I spoke to his partner at several events, suggesting places for them to see in London. I spoke to his promoters. Finally, at an advanced event, when he asked for someone to come up on stage, I volunteered. That’s when he first noticed me. Then I got another chance to present in front of him and then another one with his partner watching. Then right at the end when saying good bye, Harv put his hand on my shoulder and said, “you’re a great presenter, come train with us”.

The reason I tell you that story is because success is rarely about just knocking on one door, it is about knocking on all the doors and to keep knocking until one opens. Lots of different things to ensure I got the gig. Are you willing to do what it takes? I was willing to do what it takes because I didn’t make it about myself – I had a big Purpose, a big reason WHY. Some of you might know that my mission in life is to help people create financial wealth for themselves and their families thru financial education, so joining Harv’s team alongside Investment Mastery was a no brainer. We teach thousands of people in UK, he reaches hundreds of thousands of people.

Oh and of course the co-leading his seminar didn’t happen immediately. First I was assistant to the assistant trainer for months. There was no pay for that and travel and accommodation around the world were on my dime. Then assistant trainer for months. And now co-lead. They have taken care of me and nurtured me and I have to thank Michelle, Harv’s partner for that. She gives me feedback straight.

So what is your Purpose or your Mission? And what are you willing to do to make it happen?

Trading update

IMG_6175 On Friday we had our spread betting course for our intermediates and I am looking forward to seeing great things from those guys. One of our grads, Phil, revealed how he regularly makes 9-10% a month using the strategies we teach. It was inspiring stuff because he started in July last year and is now a full time trader.

Of course, with the strategies we teach you don’t have to be a full time trader, you can do it in 10-20 mins a day for 3% a month. but Phil wanted more. Well done that man! And you can do it too.

Favourite drama

Cranford If you are a fan of period dramas then an excellent one is 2007 BBC drama, ‘Cranford’ starring Dame Judy Dench, alongside a case of fine English actors. Mudrika bought it me for Christmas. It is all about honour and suppressed emotions and love and etiquette and a study of the ways things were in the past. There is normally quite a bit of poverty, death and suffering alongside the comedy and the portrayal of the middle and upper middle classes leaves my spirit uplifted and my soul nourished every time. Everybody has their ‘thing’ … and this is mine. Give it a go, you will find it immediately by googling ‘Cranford’.

Until next time……

Marcus
