Here’s the latest news from my travels. Its been a couple of weeks since I last blogged.
Where do I start? Well, my Las Vegas trip was great – it was an advanced Tax Liens workshop with Saen Higgins, where we visited the County offices, viewed property and did online research with the instructors in the room. When I got back, Mudrika and the team had successfully bid on another 3 liens, bringing our total to 6 now. We are really getting there.
Saen Higgins has confirmed that he will be in the UK running his 2 day seminars on 18-19th September. Get in touch if you are interested in listening to some FREE webinars he is hosting in August.

From there I went straight on to Vancouver for The Enlightened Warrior Training Camp, run by T Harv Eker’s organisation. To say it was very intense could well be the understatement of the year. It is one of those experiences, where if I told you about it you would listen with you mouth wide open, in delight, surprise and excitement at the sheer craziness of it all, but then I would have to kill you.
Let’s just say that it is a phenomenal experience, the kind of week where really special “friends for life” are made. The camp was in British Columbia, Canada, 2 hours outside of Vancouver. It was situated at the bottom of a Glacier, the view was truly spectacular as we were surrounded my forests as green as you can imagine and the weather was amazing. I want to go back there as soon as possible, but maybe for a slightly more relaxing holiday exploration.
Unfortunately as a result my arm is in a sling, my right ear still hasn’t popped from the flight and it took me a whole week to recover so last week I didn’t feel much like a Warrior … apparently this is normal.
The next warrior training is in Malaysia where I will be helping to lead the camp. If you are interested then get in touch with Success Resources. Honestly – you would be mad to go, but madder not to.
Investment Mastery trading Team updates
Paul has outstanding results
While I’ve been away the team have been having some fantastic trading results. Ryan as a beginner, is going from strength to strength, gaining confidence every week. More about his trades in another Blog.
Paul has had the most amazing run of profits, which started at the stock market
workshop a few weeks ago. He was up 700 points and by the time I got back that had grown to just under 2000 points.
At £10 a point, that’s a wopping £20,000. Congratulations Paul for your successes. Paul has been using the strategies we teach Intermediates here at Investment Mastery.
Not bad for a strategy which takes maximum 10 mins a day.

Latest Trading Book “A Bull in China” by Jim Rogers
A Bull in China: Investing Profitably in the World’s Greatest Market
I read this book over the weekend and if you are looking to get into some China stocks for the long term, then this is a good place to start. Jim Rogers cofounded the Quantum fund with George Soros. While the S&P managed 47%, the fund made 4200%.
Jim is famous for being ahead of his time – he was looking to invest in China in 1984. There are still plenty of opportunities though and the book gives you a great insight into how this is possible, even naming listed stocks for you to look at.
Long term investing – Gold, Silver and China
It looks like gold and silver have come off the boil lately, so I am using this pull back as an opportunity to get in for my long term ISAs. I am more interested in silver. Ticker on London Stock Exchange: Silver:PHAG; gold: PHGP. I am also getting into the Chinese market by buying the index of top 25 stocks. Ticker on London Stock Exchange: FXC.
You see, when Melania was born we received £250 from the Government. Rather than spend it, I was looking for a Child Trust Fund to place it in and do some long term investing. After a lot of research, it suddenly popped into my head that there might be a ‘self select’ one … and lo and behold there is at www.selftrade.co.uk who I use for my ISAs. Funny how sometimes the things you seek are right under your nose.
So after those adventures its back to business for August – catching up with the team, planning the rest of the year’s events and gearing up for new and exciting Investment Mastery projects. Ah yes, I’ll also be spending some wonderful summer evenings with my family reflecting on how come the year has flown by. Last week Mudrika and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary – that’s just mad! We’re going for a scan later on today … can’t tell you any more but can you guess? Not again Marcus…
Until next week
